Well guess I can find the dvdrip of it in a day or so. And yeah what else came out today? A few things I think, and some other releases got pushed up in release date for next week. and the downloads are for your ipod, which isnt terrible for anyone who does it, since you wont notice any pixelation.

screenings! the clay theatre! awesome. I might go to that.

don't know about the special edition though. 3 postcards and some backstage footage? hardly worth rushing to pay an extra $10. and it being limited to 1000 would make me really feel like an ass. hmm.

You can get a little preview at Amazon.com - they have the video of "Knights Of Cydonia" live up there: http://www.amazon.com/Haarp-CD-DVD-Set-Muse/dp/B000XTLUW0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1206662676&sr=1-2

God Damn it. They are SO FUCKING SICK. The two times i've seen them (Irvine, Vegoose) they absolutely fucking killed it. It still amazes me that it's only three dudes up there producing SO much sound...and with such intensity.

fuck yeah.

shakermaker113

they have a fourth guy on stage now. they picked up a touring keyboard player after black holes was released. makes sense, some of the songs wouldn't sound the same without both keyboard & guitar. I think the only song that did that before was stockholm syndrome, and they used to have a pre-recorded keyboard part being played back.

Anybody know the status of this coming out on Blu-Ray?

shotglass75
03-30-2008, 10:43 AM
I'll be honest with ya, this DVD doesn't do it for me the way the Glastonbury 2004 on did. It's lacking the emotional intensity that the other one had. And it's not even the band, it seems more like a direction problem or editing or something like that.
