I have a reservation at the Palm Court Inn in Palm Springs.
I have stayed there 2 of the last three years. It is a nice place to stay. Clean rooms, Pool, Jacuzzi, and only 25 minutes from the venue. The room rates are $79 for Thursday and Sunday, and $109 for Friday and Saturday. The reservation covers all four nights of the festival. I am willing to give away this reservation free of charge. I will give the reservation away to the best story on why you should have this reservation. No ebay, no money, and completely honest. Just post or email your story and I will give the best story the reservation. So everyone understands, I am only giving away the reservation. You will still have to pay the Palm Court for the room. I will transfer the reservation into the name of the winner. If there is no interest, then I will just cancel the reservation.

This is true, but it is the same for everyone. I stayed in Indio one year and the hotel was suspect. Also, it is sweet in Palm Springs. The bar scene is great. Better places to eat. The casino if that's your thing. Plus this hotel is very liberal on late night jacuzzi/pool activity. It was great to come back after the show and party with other festival goers poolside.
