I channel surf back and forth between a few local Baltimore stations during my morning commute every day, but obviously this morning I made a mistake by not listening to 92Q. For the first time in years, hometown R&B heroes Dru Hill appeared on the air together to announce a reunion of all four original members, including onetime solo star Sisqo. But not ten minutes into the interview, Woody Rock started to explain that he feels he's been "called by God on an assignment," and Sisqo, in disbelief, asks, "the group, right?" Once it becomes clear that Woody doesn't mean the group, Sisqo very reasonably retorts "dude, you could've told us this yesterday" and storms out, followed by a physical altercation between Woody and Nokio. I'm torn between feeling incredibly embarrassed for Baltimore right now that these guys are possibly the biggest stars we can claim as our own, and too entertained by this footage not to share it.

sisqo did that thong song or some shit. worthless.

Was that it? That one song caused the deterioration of American society to even lower levels.

Dru Hill was the crappy r&b group (i hate what this category consists of nowadays) that sisqo was first in and they had a pretty successful career

Dru Hill was legit for a little while, along with 112, Blackstreet, Boyz II Men, and a few others.

hahaha
wow.
It's too bad Sisqo (as a solo artist) wasn't bigger than he should have been (aside from thong song).
His 2 solo albums were pretty damn good.

I guess another Dru Hill album is gonna be on hiatus for a while :)

What a fuckin asshole, that Woody Rock!

That is really funny, but I honestly feel so bad for those dudes... biggest dickbag move of the year so thus far. Should be all over VH1 in about decade.

lol.

that radio presenter was kissing major ass though. buying their greatest hits four or five times? he could have thought of something better than that.

It's like that Bands Reunited show where everyone has to act like they're excited for a Kajagoogoo reunion.

BTW...according to Wikipedia, this isn't even a reunion. This Woody guy left in 1999, and came back in 2002. They've supposedly been "active" the whole time, though they got dumped from their label a while back. So, it IS really weird...this guy wants out again, and decides to do it on the air.

I just can't believe he sat there the whole time while the DJ is just going off about their reunion. "Makin history! Reunited! All the original members!" and he just sat there in silence for 10 minutes before he decided to drop the bomb. Amazing. I wonder if that was just a publicity move for him... get as many people listening as possible and then announce he's ministering at some random church.

ps M Sparks- I got to go to the taping of Scandal's reunion on Bands Reunited and it was pretty much the saddest thing ever. Maaaybe 50 fans freaking out in the front, then a bunch of industry people and crew people in the back trying not to look bored/amused. The concert was at like a recording studio. It was seriously the funniest concert I've ever been to. Some of those hardcore fans were amazing.
