Last weekend I met a guy who was bragging the whole time about having seen DMB 11 times.

Stereotype alert: All DMB fans travel mindlessly to see him 78,062 times a summer at Alpine Valley and Red Rocks and talk about how awesome it was when he finally played "Satellite." I hate DMB fans, and thus I've grown to dislike DMB more and more.

11 times? That seems to be weaksauce for a DMB fan.

Yeah. There's logic in action. Is everyone from Iowa this retarded?

I saw him at red rocks and it was a good show. Not a huge fan, but it was worth my time and money.

How clear does the disclaimer "stereotype alert" have to be, hawkingsvsreeve?

I really don't like DMB, but I prefer DMB to comments about retardation when I was obviously not taking myself seriously. Msg boards is serious business though, my mistake.

I saw Dave in 1996. It was a good show. I was 10.

Dave Matthews Band is the best, in my opinion. I've never seen a proper show though. I've seen them only once, and they opened up for The Rolling Stones. It was cool, but probably not as cool as seeing them headline their own show at Red Rocks are somewhere. I never get a chance to jump on some tickets though.

DMB has some really amazing albums though. Great stuff.

I have to admit, my girlfriend dragged me to one of their shows at The Bowl last year and it was actually quite entertaining. I dig alot of their old stuff, can't say the same for anything released within the past couple years.

On another note, I have never seen so many Abercrombie & Fitch employees together in one venue, all of them simultaneously playing the drums on their chests and singing with their eyes closed. That freaked me out a bit.

You guys aren't shallow or nuthin'.

I don't think I'm going to go to Coachella this year cuz I've never seen so many stoic, pretentious, bitchy indie scenster fucks in one place in my life.

Oh wait, I like the music.
