How ... weird. If I were nearby, that would be worth the trip and the ~$60 to see the 1/4 of the lineup that is incredible

I never thought there we be a reason for people to say...

-"Wow that Black Crowes set was awesome, they are really making a come back! So do you want to check out what Aretha Franklin is doing?

-"Nah man, I wanna get a spot up front for Fergie."

Weird...Tempe is trying to do some kind of festival this year at Tempe Town Lake, and their headiners are MCR and Fergie too.

It's coming up real quick, and last time I checked, there were only a few acts listed. I think one of them was Puddle Of Mudd though, so this thing owns Tempe by virtue of not having PoM alone.

Fun fact. One of my good friends, and the singer for the band I am in, is cousins with the lead singer of Simple Plan. Don't worry... they sound nothing alike.

I would call that line up a "disaster waiting to happen", but that lineup is a clear disaster that has already taken place and left its victims with a third nipple.

I agree with both these statements above me.

I'd spend exactly 1 hour each day at this festival.

I'm pretty sure all the musicians bounce the fuck out seconds after their set is over as well..

In her defense, they do put on a good show. I caught them at warped tour a few years back, and then at almost accoustic christmas, they surprised the hell out of me. I was expecting shit, and it was actually a good live show.

03-08-2008, 04:29 PM
One day I will see the Black Crowes live.

And seeing Arrested Development would be awesome. Oh man.

Sushov23
03-08-2008, 04:30 PM
yeah My Chemical Romance are a good live band, they will be one of the few to survive this b.s. emo shit. I can't wait for it die.

YES i did say i like mcr Jake, they are a very good live band and they're originally from the town over from me so they are 'local boys' who i support on that alone (from what i've heard they're nice guys too)

no need to knock them, to each their own :)
