I know this may not quilify as a major reunion, but Orchestral Manoevers in the Dark are playing again in Britain. They would be great at sundown on the Coachella stage, and even if you don't like their poppy stuff, they do have some simply beautiful songs that would translate to that time of night. And No, they are not for everyone, but no one is for everyone.

I could imagine the dumbfounded look on the audience if OMD played Dazzle Ships in it's entirety. Now that would be classic.

Just got tickets to see OMD in Paris. They are playing the entire Architecture and Morality album there. It should be quite a show. Now, if they were added to Coachella, I could save a lot of money.
People usually recognize OMD for a few poppy tunes that became hits in the US, but they really were a very unusual and experimental sounding band, with a lot of songs that defied the pop standard (verse, chorus, verse, etc.).
And yes, the reunion is the original 4 members of the band, not just the lead singer and a house band.
