i just got a phone call from the hotel I booked in early January telling me they are going out of business and cannot honor my reservation.
I am in such a pickle as are the other 4 people that are going with me.
this is the first time in 5 years that I am faced with this dilemna.
Please, someone tell me,where can I stay?Anyone know of any hotel with vacanies? Help!!!! Help!!! help!!!!

PM me pixie, I may have a couple of rooms I could transfer to you - but I won't know for sure for another few weeks.

they might be lying to you, so that they can turn around and book the room at a higher rate.

You can check on whether they're just fucking you for a higher rate by calling them (not disclosing who you are, of course), and asking about availability during Coachella.

And then make sure to let us know what happens.

PM me too. I have a timeshare I can trade for in Palm Springs. I think it can hold 4 people, but you might be able to get an extra bed in there. I can give you a good deal. It's a nice resort too--I stay there most Coachella's.

I just called the hotel & they said it was closing at the end of March. Oh well.

I'm staying there this year.

edit: I would be in a different room, of course.

I usually think timeshares are a terrible idea, but a coachella regular getting a time share in palm springs is actually really sensible. do you have to let them know a long time in advance that you want it that weekend?

Wheres the beef?
