Wish I could be there, but I can't. Amoeba shows are fun. Last one I went to was with Okkervil River over the summer.

I was planning on going. Curious what in-stores are like in SF though? If I can't get there until 6:30pm should I even bother?

They basically have people file in the aisles in front of the stage. And when a certain aisle gets to have enough people, they rope it off and then start people in the next aisle. The band will probably play anywhere from 30-45 minutes.

Nah, its a week night so it shouldn't be too bad. I remember I showed up about an hour early for the okkervil river one to just shop and not even the band was there yet. People didn't start getting their places until maybe a half hour ahead of time. There were still plenty of good viewing spots even once the band started.

Yeah, no problem. You'll have a lot of fun. I'm jealous.
