I'm purchasing my tickets sometime this week.
My question is this:

Is it cheaper to buy the tickets online or at a ticketmaster outlet? Because the online tickets have like this bullshit 36 dollar extra fees crap

Anyone know?

The only money you save by buying in person is the shipping and handling charges. I think it's $15-20 for shipping the tickets, depending on if you ship via USPS or via UPS.

check the Tickets threads. there are a few people selling 3-day pass + camping cheaper than ticketmaster.

The tickets the outlet gives you are printed on better paper than the tickets you'd print yourself.

you can get the same tix in the mail...you'll save on the $5 online fee and you'll save a little more if you use cash instead of credit at a ticketmolestor outlet. I dont remember paying any shipping for usps. That is free.

What? Regular usps mail of the tickets is free not $15-$20. What are you talking about?

Okay. Then you will save the $0 you will pay in shipping handling for USPS fees.

Happy now?

So really the only difference is that you get your tickets right away instead of waiting for them in the mail.

Eh, I'm gonna go the legal-for-sure-won't-get-ripped-off way. But thanks.

that's not true. ordering online there is also an order processing charge that you avoid if you buy at an outlet. it's under $5 though, and it's a per-order charge not a per-ticket charge.

otherwise, no cost difference at all.
