I had a few people recommend that i dont use the camping option when attending Coachella. Why would they say such a thing. For me the huge advantage is that its a lot cheaper then a hotel.
Anyone have any bad Coachella Camping experiences???

No, onsite camping is awesome. It's cheaper, closer, and less of a hassle than anything else. Plus you really get the whole experience. If your a woose and absolutely need an air conditioner and bed then maybe it's not for you. That's the basis of most of the negative comments I have heard about onsite camping. Other than that it's great. The strict rules are a lie also, just as long as you don't get completely out of control. Go camping it's great!

Is there specific parking for the people who are camping?? Like maybe closer to the camping area.

I believe there is a different parking lot for campers. Last year they maneuvered campers in one lot, but told us (not campers) to go to another one.
