I heard from someone whose been to a Coachella say that there werent showers on the grounds, but someone else said there was? I don't find it very likely that there would be showers in the middle of the desert but I just wanted that clarified. Thanks.

What they like? How long are the queues? What are the best times to go?

Communal showers at other festivals I've been to here are disgusting, and the general feeling that it was much more hygenic to use a combination of baby wipes and deodrant for 3 days.

They're really nice and tidy with warm water and everything. The queues can be quite long from 9 to 11 am if I remember correctly. If you go around 8 am you won't have any problems.

They have private stalls. They are clean. Bring flip flops. Bring a towel. Bring soap, shampoo and conditioner (if you so desire). There are points where the line is 30 minutes or so, but if you're smart and don't go at 7:30 am and wait until 10 or 11 or so, you'll have no line.

Are the showers on the onsite camping or offsite camping areas?

Why would the fest organizers provide showers for someone else's campground?

best time to shower is at night after the show lets out. There are no lines and you won't have to sleep with all of your sunscreen and sweat all over you.

Just bring a light change of clothes to the stall and a large towel so you don't freeze.

Yeah, I have oily hair so this wouldn't work. I'd still have to shower again in the morning. I'll be showering twice a day. Yay!

in previous years, i haven't showered all weekend. i don't wash my hair so there's really no point. this year i'm going to bring some of those body wash wipes. i haven't tried them before but i'm sure it'll feel better than nothing.

The showers rocked! I couldn't believe how convenient and clean they were and no wait. They also have these really cool matts laid down over sinks with mirrors under the stars, it's pretty swank. I consider camping at coachella luxary camping.
