Trick Loves The Kids is strictly "for the kids," if you know what I mean.

huge letdown - it's almost march - doesnt make sense to me why they wouldnt make any huge additions now if there are any coming (unless they actually have nothing). My reasoning:

1. Ticket sales are poor this year - it's obvious and everyone knows it.

2. Huge additions sell tickets - the earlier you make them, the more likely you will sell out.

3. Earlier additions are better (at least from my perspective) in that they convince a broader geographic range to attend. (i.e., someone in the UK wont fly to coachella on two weeks' notice if you wait till that late in order to make the adds). if you do the wait to the last minute thing, you're almost guaranteed it will be all cali kids, and no offense, but that blows.

Anyone think the "trick" might be if this thing sells so poorly--as it looks like it is, so far--that the whole thing'll get cancelled for the first time in Coachella history? I'm just sayin'....how much money can Golden Voice lose before they either beef-up the line-up or cancel the whole she-bang?

Last year is the only year that it sold out so quick, 2006 never sold out, 2004 with in my opinion the best lineup, only sold out Saturday a couple of weeks before the fest, and I bought tickets at the box office that year, so is not getting canceled and its going to be crowded like every year...

Well, I guess I should try to look at this year's situation positively: If it doesn't get cancelled, and if it doesn't sell out (and I'm predicting it will be a far cry from selling out crowd unless there's some serious beefing-up of the line-up) that will simply mean more breathing room for the rest of us. Still, after seeing the Sasquatch 2008 line-up for this year, I think I'd rather be there than Coachella 2008...can't afford to do both.

2006 did sell out after they added Madonna. I know because i was debating going and by the time i made up my mind it was too late.
