Pete Townshend wants to play some festivals this summer.

I know we've already got one major classic rock name on the lineup with Roger Waters, but thoughts on The Who being added? Didn't the LA Times leak before the lineup came out say that we could expect "a surprising veteran act or two?"

I fucking love The Who. I'm still dying for my chance to see Pete whirl his arm and bloody his hands playing, and to rock out to Teenage Wasteland. I'd flip if they were added.

Ps, I guess we'll find out in the next 24 hours if MBV is getting added (according to theories)...

A few days before the line up came out, I thought The Who was going to be a headliner. I don't think we will be seeing the Who on the Polo fields this year.

The Who performing Tommy would be amazing!

i think the "veteran act or two" is Roger Waters & Kraftwerk, but I'd be down with The Who too.

the new who material absolutely blows. luckily they arent stupid enough to fill a set with it.

i'd love to hear baba o'reilly and the seeker out in the desert, but a part of me finds them incredibly lame. i dunno... that's just the feeling i had when i saw them on this last tour. nobody screams aging rocker like pete townsend. also, do we need any more viagra at coachella?

I would love to see the Who but don't expect them to get added to the lineup.
