Okay Goldenvoice, this will totally make up for this year. The Silent Shout tour hit the U.S. in 2006, they said only a 3 year hiatus back then. Get to work on it now and you can make it happen.

The three year hiatus began in 06 after the Silent Shout tour, so you'd think that they would be cranking new material by 09, which in theory, allows them to have some fresh stuff for Coachella (even though no matter what they play would make me cream my pants).

PLEASE GV/THE KNIFE, I WANT TO SEE YOU BEFORE I DIE.

I posted about this before but go ahead and check out this link:

It says that they are open to ideas whereas it previously said TBA. It's not much but it's something!

If The Knife tour the US at all, I can't think of a more likely place for them to play than The Sahara tent at Coachella. Coachella has very little corporate sponsorship and could afford them the semi-elaborate production that would be required. Paul T surely knows how big a get The Knife would be so I'm sure he's working on it.

I really need to get the deluxe Silent Shout. Amoeba never has it in-stock, though. A couple weeks ago I asked and was told that their computer claims they have three copies in stock, but they are MIA: stolen or dropped into the wrong place or both.

The videos I've seen on mtv2 and youtube look hella epic. I really want them to play next year.

The show is much better than video can capture. There were layers of visuals floating in mid-air in front of and behind the stage. The only way I can explain how good it was to see live is to point out that people were spending $200+ for a $20 scalped ticket to see a 45-minute show that started 2-3 hours late with no openers and I heard nothing but absolute praise at the end of the night.

I for one think that if either one of them saw how insensitive their fans are, on this board, towards the birth of a child, that they would refuse to play Coachella because of it. That's how they work. They play on their own terms.

Here is a link to the Deep Cuts album on zshare. I hope everyone downloads and enjoys.
I will also share any other Knife tracks that are requested.

I never said anyone sucked. I said the lack of sensitivity towards the birth is enough for them not to play IMHO.

I am sharing not selling, I support The Knife when I buy the albums, and I am sharing in hopes to gain new fans and spread knowledge. I thought that there might be some flack for sharing an album that I have purchased four times over, but no big deal.

Yeah I mean, I think that they would much rather have people talking about them and researching and sharing their art than saying "fuck your baby, come dance for us".

I cant really say what they feel so fuck me.
