In 2005 on the sunday during the day there was a period when there wasnt any bands i wanted to see, and since i had been up for 2 days and the vibe is so chill at coachella, me and my friends just took a nap under one of the shade tents for like an hour. it was awesome. anyone ever do this aswell?

I sparked one for Kasabian and layed down in the back of the tent, closed my eyes and just took in the sounds. People thought I was dead. I was alive.

I closed my eyes and relaxed to the first half of Air's set in 04. And then one of the guys from road crew gave me an artist pass, so i watched the second half from the wings of the stage.

I have friends that have napped on the grass.. I always thought it would be cool to get there right when it opens and just chillin in the shade.. but it's still like 100 degrees and it smells like WARM GRASS.

my friend and i did exactly that on one of the days where we were waiting until like 2pm for a band we wanted to see to come on.

My husband took a nap last year Saturday afternoon in the shade of a palm tree.

Kinda fell asleep during Eagles of Death Metal last year, we got plastered earlier in the day and were wearing down. It was a good idea cuz we had tons of energy for Daft Punk, not that that wouldn't have amped me on it's own.

First couple of Coachellas I would have considered it heresy to sleep and miss something. Now it's part of the schedule. I love finding a spot next to one of the outdoor stages late afternoon and nodding off to get ready for the headliners.

I might be chastised for this, but I slept through the first part of Radiohead's set on one of the couches in the Heineken tent (2004). Woke up and went and watched Electric Six, (I'm not a Radiohead fan).

I thought that's why Belle and Sebastien were booked in 2004; they were the equivalent of a hot chocolate and a nice blanket. zzzzz.

last year i got seperated from my friends, and since i wasnt too keen on any of the bands playing at the moment i fell asleep, alone, under a tent... people stared
