Hi,
My neighbor has bought this very nice looking 'Canvas Bell tent' of eBay.com, from some guy (canvascamp) selling these European made Bell tents out of Belgium.
The tent is fantastic and so is there feedback but I have never bought anything that had to be shipped from Europe and as I am on a tight budget: what if something goes wrong.

So my question is: Does anybody know where I can find a similar Bell tent that does not have to come from this far.

Thx,
Sam

that thing looks like it may be too big. I dont know it's dimensions though. AND, if its made of canvas its going to be one oven baking mofo...

A square or rectangular tent would maximize your allocated space better...

I bet it wouldn't be any worse than a normal tent, especially if you pimped it out with some reflective covering on the top and a tent fan or two.

yeah, you dont really stay in your tent in the morning very long any way.

Unless there is a tent that has air conditioning and a shower attached, I'm not interested.

Whatever happened to the "Safari" VIP thing?

It never gets to warm in this tent, it was designed to be pitched in the desert. You can roll up the walls creating shade while letting the wind pass underneath. Thats why nomads use them in the sahara desert. The only problem is that your tent will become the chillout of the camping site. Big, lovely, gentil vibe, cool, people pass by and just stick around.

When I skimmed this thread title I thought Glamping was going to be a place in Britain. It sounds like it would be.

Also this seems a little like secret, undercover spam.

hey guys.

If this is undercover spam, we would like to be completely open and say that if you are in the UK, come to www.canvasandcast.com (www.canvasandcast.com)for the best Bell Tent (http://www.canvasandcast.com/bell_tent.htm) on the market. Old School heavy canvas style, none of this light weight bright white rubbish

Festival Goers we are for sure (been taking my daughter since she was 6 months old, she is nearly six now) so we know what we are talking about, and having woken up feeling rough after a cold night and sweaty morning under nylon Canvas Bell Tents (http://www.canvasandcast.com/bell_tent.htm) are the way to go.

I have never made it to Coachella, but its on my "to do" list - would have loved to have seen Prince last year.

Anyway, goodbye all, from the not so undercover spam free spammers ;)
