A Perfect Circle Would be a sweet reunion, and to headline Friday, or open up for Mr. Waters on Sunday. That late addition would be deffinatly be a major gap filler.... never going to happen, Maynard loves his wine too much right now, oh Merkan vineyards!

if you read spin, there was an article last month about maynard, puscifer, tool and APC. Maynard is busy running his vineyard in california and he says point blank to the reporter "there will never be another APC album, ever". emphasis on the ever.

Arizona, that is.

And he doesn't have a vineyard, he's only making wine from purchased grapes.

But whatevas

You said "Fuck APC", which is blasphemy.

I agree that Puscifer would be amazing at Coachella.

Maynard said no more APC albums, but they might do a song for a sountrack one day or some shit. Billy is doing something else right now. I expect we'll see something before too long from him but it won't be called APC.

From Wikipedia:
A merkin (first use, according to the OED, 1617) is a pubic wig, originally worn by prostitutes after shaving their genitalia to eliminate lice or to disguise the marks of syphilis.

...oops, you said Merkan. Sorry about that.

Billy Howerdel's new project is called ASHES dIVIDE (http://www.ashesdivide.com). The first single "The Stone" is currently serviced to radio and for sale on iTunes and Amazon. It's very much in the same vein as APC, minus Maynard. His album drops sometime this Spring and touring shortly afterwards. I'm surprised he's not playing Coachella.

Former APC members Josh Freese and Paz Lenchantin will appear on the record, as well as Maynard's son Devo, who happens to be a cellist.

No, not A Perfect Circle. Ashes Divide. It's Billy Howerdel's new band. With Maynard's kid. Here are some of the cast as listed on myspace...

That’s not to say Ashes is a one-man project. Longtime collaborator Danny Lohner (APC, Nine Inch Nails) helped out with the recording process, while Josh Freese (APC), and Keenan’s son Devo make appearances on the album. Other contributors include Johnette Napolitano(Concrete Blonde), Matt Skiba(Alkaline Trio) and Paz Lenchantin, while Alan Moulder mixed the album. However, the music is decidedly the work of Howerdel, and features his emotional insights and musical vision.

I want to hear the track with Ms. Napolitano. I love Concrete Blonde.

Lazy??? Maynard is probably one of the most active musicians in the industry. APC, Tool, Puscifer...and he's constantly touring when not releasing unbelievably awesome albums. I saw the 10,000 days tour five times and each one was different, though similar, but it was the 10,000 days tour so what do you want? All of their tours have been like that so why would you expect this one to be different?

I hoped and hoped again, I don't remember a rumor per se.
