Do people commonly adorn their tent with kooky things? signs? streamers? stuffed geese?

Any good tent stories?

I've never understood the concept of desperate women. You're so totally in control of the situation.

Keep in mind that is not my tent. I found it whilst googling.

And who tells they are women in that tent? I know quite a few men who want cock too :D

So what kind of decor will the Slut Tent have?

Oh, and on topic...I plan to get some kind of idiotic kids balloon so I can spot my tent from far away. Maybe Jem if I can find one. She's outrageous...truly.

I've been thinking about this too, and am thinking glow-in-the-dark is the way to go. We were even in an easy-to-find spot last year, and I still had trouble finding the group again every night.

Flags, signs, all work well during daylight and if nothing taller is blocking your way. Balloons are a good idea, I wonder how long they'd last in the heat.

Flags are always popular. Sometimes you'll see other decorations too.

I have a little neon pink/black polka dot flag that has "menik" sewed into it that I made back in 2005 prior to my first coachella with the people I was riding down with, that I bring with me each year with the intention of putting it atop my tent, but never do...nonetheless, it's like a good luck charm.

I'm hoping to put up some kind of flashing LED a few feet above the top of the tent.
I never had trouble finding the general area of the tent, just the specific tent itself.

My tent will not actually be dubbed the slut tent...that was a joke with a friend that I found hilarious.

The name of my tent will be something to ponder...

perhaps it should just be "BEARDwatch headquarters" and I can decorate it in fun fur...

Just rock the teepee. Setup may be a bit harder but you'll have no trouble finding it.

I covered my tent in glow sticks, but they burned out by the next evening. I walked around camp and gave them to random people. It made them happy. It made me happy.

I hope you have better luck at convincing these guys of that than I did with a pic I posted that wasn't "mine."

Hell, when I saw this pic I had to wonder...Did they make it into the fest?

I don't remember glow sticks! I would have gladly used some. I guess we'll have to try harder this year. well. Those of us who are camping.

I loved Camp Harajuku. Are they doing something again this year? They were the only way I had any hope of finding my tent last year. They were in an aisle/lane close to my tent but at the opposite end... so if I got really lost, I found them and then up the lane.

i have one of these...

http://www.nativeoutdoors.com/images/Cyclops/18mil.jpg

its 18 million candlewatt power and it can land a fucking plane. im putting right in the middle of camp so it will probably be the easiest spotted tent (at night, anyway). im guessing it will look something like this...

If that thing is 18 million candlepower, you better have someone waiting at the tent to turn it on 5 minutes before you get back, or else the batteries will be shot.

BTW what would people recommend a pop up tent or a put it together kind of tent. Don't mean to hijack the thread but in order to decide the decor

Kinda depends on how much space you want/need.

Our tent is a "put it together", but it's really not hard, especially if you have two people. It's 8' x 8' and you can almost stand up in it. Takes maybe 5 minutes unless its windy.
