my bro & i have been every day every year, but i'd have to do some serious searching in order to find all the tix... it would be worth it if you could get free passes next year for providing proof of attendance every other year...

C Dub has been to every single one of em, and I know he has the tickets to prove it. Schedules too. It would be cool if some of the veterans got hooked up for the 10 year anniversary, that would be sweet. Hey 6 years out of 9 isnt too bad.

I've been every year, but I don't think I could find all my duckets. Maybe I could, but it would take waaaay too much effort.

i didn't throw my tickets away, but finding them would require a bunch of box searching. i have been to them all, but only have photographic evidence since 2002 on.

ive been to every one except '03, and that was cuz i was living in whistler. and in 99 and 02 i only went one day out of the two. so i guess out of the total DAYS coachella has gone on, ive missed 4 of them. and i think i have a ticket for all of them, but like everybody else, it would take some searching.

I wish I could have gone to all the old Coachellas. I first wanted to go Coachella in 2005 and 2006. But I didn't have the time/money/rescources to get there.
By the time the 07 line up rolled around... I had actually forgotten all about Coachella. I didnt actually find out about it until 3 days after the anouncement. As soon as I saw the line up, I decided I was going though. Its all history from there...

Yep.

I have gone to every one, and I have all the tickets, wristbands (when applicable), stickers, and the schedules. Even have some flight ticket stubs I think, I'm a bit of a pack rat - neat but thorough.

Jeez thats a lotta dough when you look at it?

I will be going to the 10th fo sho.

Started going in 2002 when I was living in SF. Have been to every one since and am going again this year, even though I moved to Boston in between the 04 and 05 'Chellas. My friends, who have scattered around North America, use it as an opportunity to all get together rather than have everyone try to visit everyone else throughought the year. We rent a house in Palm Springs, drive out thursday morning, and have a general blast.

My favorite memory by *far*: a friend getting accidentally covered from head to toe in fake blood from the Robochrist show (he's still not 100% sure how it happened), who then took his shoes off to dry out his socks... and then proceeded to step on a piece of metal and cut his foot. So genius-boy goes into the medical tent going "I think I cut myself"... forgetting he is COVERED FROM HEAD TO TOE IN FAKE BLOOD. Needless to say, the EMTs almost had a heart attack on the spot.

I've been to a number of other festivals, from the new Lolla to V fest, and nothing compares to the overall Coachella vibe.

I went to the first ever one in '74. Back in those days you could bring your own ostrich.

Exactly the same for me. You don't hear much about Coachella out here, and almost no one knows what/where it is. I had a friend go out in '06 and of course loved it, but I had forgotten about it too until the lineup was announced last year. After going once though, it's safe to say I'll be a lifer from here on out.

I'm still trying to figure out how I found out about it in Ohio, in 1999. The one thing I remember is the press release was heavy on selling it as a English style festival, and I had been to Glastonbury before - so I'm sure my interest was peaked with that.

I remember hearing about this festival in SoCal years ago but thought it was held on an old AFB. The thoughts of standing on 130* tarmac put me off. Where did I get the idea of the AFB ?

been to every year....but only have tickets from '01-now....

'99 there was a serious disconnect from reality that prevented holding on to such earthly posessions

Yes one year of Woodstock (not the first) was on a AFB
