Metric vs. Pink Floyd
Hell yes. I'm praying Metric, Waters, and Justice don't conflict. I really absolutely must see Roger Waters and Justice because I know I wouldn't be able to ever see them anywhere else without paying a ridiculous amount of money, but I would not be able to resist Emily Haines in a conflict...

Saturday: MGMT vs Anybody!!! I pray that MGMT is the only good band on at the time if not im gonna miss somebody to see this band, I have a feeling their set is gonna be talked about like when Arcade Fire came and blew up here.
I dont see that happening. for some reason. maybe they have completly changed since i last saw them 3 years ago opening for of montreal. they were fun but af performace. i doubt it. now if i remember right i talked to the drummer after the show and he only had been in the band for like 2 or 3 months. but ya.

And Aphex vs. any of those listed above, depending on which day Aphex is playing.

Raconteurs are way better than The White Stripes. In concert in particular I'm pretty sure.
That sucks because The Raconteurs aren't that great live. I prefer the studio tracks.

In my utopian vision of this year's lineup, I would be able to see the following sets in their entirety:
FRIDAY:
The National, Fatboy Slim, The Breeders, The Raconteurs, The Verve, APHEX TWIN (if playing)
SATURDAY:
MGMT, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Animal Collective, Hot Chip, Kraftwerk, Portishead, APHEX TWIN (if playing)
SUNDAY:
Metric, Justice, Spiritualized, My Morning Jacket, Roger Waters

i don't anticipate any major problems for me on either friday or sunday(as i'm not really a justice fan).
but saturday everybody pretty much seems to be in agreement. these THREE bands should not conflict with each other: PRINCE, PORTISHEAD, and KRAFTWERK.
otherwise everything will probably be fine.
on second thought, on the off chance that rilo kiley plays a smaller stage later at night, they should definitely not conflict with any of the above bands either. but that's just for me.
taking a second look at sunday, it seems like maybe spiritualized will conflict with roger waters, that'd definitely be a buzzkill for me and i expect probably others as well.
as some afterthoughts, animal collective and devotchka shouldn't conflict. and aphex twin and jack johnson SHOULD conflict. :)
hope you're still reading these. don't blow it on the portishead/kraftwerk/prince deal. prince could be the best thing to happen to this year's coachella if you play it right.... or the worst.

I am torn. Part of me wants to see Battles play early in the day. But at Vegoose... the crowd was totally dead for Battles. Which I why I ran back over to Gogol. Battles sounded amazing, but the crowd was very boring.
In the Fuji Rock video though, the audience looks awesome. I noticed the darker it gets atfestivals, the more people get into the band they are watching. So part of me wants Battles to play at night. Which would likely mean a conflict with Fatboy Slim and/or Aphex Twin. Or a Pendulum conflict. Although that would suck, I would respectly have to decline Pendulum and go with Battles all the way.

Regarding conflicts with McCartney or The Cure, they will both most likely be playing for over two hours. Like with Waters last year, we chose to see Modeselektor, watched the entire set, then went to Waters and watched for almost 2 hours, including DSOTM, then got to Justice early. We skipped a total of maybe 40 mins of Waters and had no regrets.
Worst conflicts IMO are when you've got 4 or 5 bands you love overlapping on different stages over like 2 hours. Short sets, bad spots, not getting inside the tent etc. That stuff can be annoying. Maybe its better to just do full sets.
Looking back at old set times, they really do a great job avoiding big conflicts.
I think we are all expecting Sunday after dark to be really stacked. Tough decisions.

As for the first part, what Whiskers said.
I will save you more trouble and second this statement %1000. The Glitch Mob is cool, but its nothing new. Their sets are fun but shit starts to sound exactly the same within 20minutes of their set. De La Soul are truly grandmasters of the hip-hop industry. They got this shit started, and after all the years in the game they know how to get a crowd buck.
On the other hand, please avoid the potential conflict between De La Soul vs. Infected Mushroom. Also, although I feel Deadmau5 and Jay-Z confliction is inevitable, but maybe you can start Jay's set half way through Deadmau5 or something.
Edit: I would prefer Jay starts half-way through Deadmau5, that way I can catch Mau5 whole set. So I switched it around in the Bold

I think this is the best we can hope for... It'll be a 1st for me to see both of them, and I'm hoping there's the least amount of conflict possible.

That's awesome PF is the OP. My main request is no Gorrilaz vs. Orbital vs. Yorke. I have plenty of other request but this is my main one.

Friday:
The Specials vs. Yeasayer vs. The Avett Brothers vs. PiL
My friends and I drove from San Diego to the natural history museum a couple weeks ago to see yeasayer but when we got there we found out the they had sold out within two hours :(
Also, ticketmaster wouldn't let me buy tickets to the Specials in LA when i tried a couple days ago. I don't know if it's officially sold out or not though cause It told me to check back later.
These are my top two for Friday and the fact that i had chances of seeing both outside coachella but failed makes me sad, but not quite as sad as a conflict between the two would

I don't think The Specials and Yeasayer are going to conlict. The Specials will be during the day and Im guessing Yeasayer will be at night... What I am afraid of is...
The Specials vs. The Avett Brothers
Yeasayer vs. PiL
Both of these would kill me.
Also, Devo NEEDS to conflict with Tiesto and close a stage. This has to happen.

This board has brainwashed me to ASSUME Fever Ray is closing Mojave. I'm on a go on a limb and say fuck that and hope she performs at 8. So my main wish is
Fever Ray/Passion Pit vs. Jay-Z or LCD Soundsystem.
I dont care about LCD but I want a good spot for Jay Z so I will stay for their whole set. While I'm not a fan their music seems fun and not boring.
Wheres the beef?

Pavement/Yorke/Numan conflicts on Sunday would make me sad too.

Saturday - White Rabbits v. Frank Turner v. Band of Skulls v. Edward Sharpe v. 2manydjs v. Muse v. Dead Weather v. Portugal. The Man (I know, I'm bound to hit 1 .. or 2 or 3 conflicts in there)

Psychic friend, I have never asked you for anything. I posted that thread and helped a bunch of newbies. I'm extremely excited for Coachella this year, it's my fifth time going. Andddd I realize that this request might be too late as I'm sure you guys have already figured this stuff out, BUT
Please don't let Gorillaz and Plastikman conflict. This is my only request. Thank you.
