hear me out first- i've been told to just lace the bottom of a cooler with 15-20 beers dump the ice and other food on top of it all and vuallah... sound solid? or is some security guard really gonna dig through my shit that intensely

They might. It completely depends on which security guard you get. They confiscated my friend's water bottle filled with vodka, but my other friend got a 30 pack in. Luck of the draw

if one decides to sneak in alcohol, and one gets caught doing so, is there any other consequences besides getting the booze poured out? banned from camping?

Why did you but jelly in a glass jar?

Yea, I'd like an answer to this questions too... not that I'm thinking of sneaking anything in at all...

There's no consequences. Not everyone will know you're not allowed alcohol in. They just confiscate it, so it's just a waste of your money at the end of the day.

If you're caught with it onsite after declaring you have none.....THEN you can get thrown out. If you're caught, it reflects badly on event organisers too. If Coachella doesn't happen again because of you. We will find you, hunt you down and kill you. A lot.

Coachella security goes through ALL your shit, and I mean ALL! they will dig very deeply into guys pockets (inner pockets, outer pockets) and for the girls they will lift their bra's up to see if anything falls out!

I am so confused. There is one thread saying you can bring 30 beers a person in and this one saying they're gonna take it all. Whats up?

Would it help to know this thread is 5 years old and beer wasn't allowed in the campgrounds back then?

Am I allowed to bring my pet velociraptor? He's super well behaved and hasn't killed anyone in weeks. What do you think?

Im sure that if you stuff them in your raver pants that are usually crazy baggy you would be able to sneak in a 30 pack in each pant legs, who knows maybe even a mini keg also

Reasonable amount of beer (limited to 1 case of beer per person) (NO KEGS, NO GLASS, NO LIQUOR), for personal consumption only (NO VENDING), by folks who are of legal age (21), will be permitted to be brought onto the camping areas (not concert area). If, however, in the security's judgment it appears that the amount of alcohol is excessive for the number of persons in the vehicle, or if anyone in the vehicle is under 21 years of age, the organizers reserve the right to deny entry of the vehicle and/or confiscate the alcohol. Kegs may not be brought onto the property. Please keep these things in mind and be sensible about how much you plan to bring in. Beer will be available for purchase on the concert field. Yes, boxed wine is ok to bring, too.
