I agree though the flaming will follow. I would enjoy a mega-trance dj. First year that it seems to be missing.

Uh, are Sasha & Digweed not considered trance anymore?

No they are more progressive house

no that's just what they like to call themselves.

No there is a difference. A Sasha and Digweed set sounds nothing like a Tiesto or Van Buuren set.

armin would put on a tight show, but we deffanetely have enough DJ's we need an epic rock band of some sort for fri night

I don't like trance, but I do enjoy going to Armin shows. Armin is very melodic trance. I went to a few this summer and it was chill. Everyone was having a great time and he really loves what he does, you can totally tell. His performance should be good.

Sasha and Digweed won't be anything like that though...more on the progressive house side. Maybe a little on the dark side also. Will be good to hear them together though, they have both been doing a lot of solo work.

I'd be up for that.

But it has to have a 17 minute long intro. With the dude with the deep voice.

Armin is crap and annoying. His 2005 set was the tweaky, synthy junk that gives trance the bad rep it has. He'd be a worthless addition, other than to give us all a break from the terrific, bangin' stuff the Sahara is already rammed with this year. I mean, I gotta see an actual band at some point, right? Anyway, in '05, people only half-paid attention to Van Buuren, and they'd pay less attention now. S&D can occasionally be brilliant, but only rarely since '97. I've been them a few times since the second Northern Exposure tour and they've been disappointing. The last time was at Giant NYE a year ago. Boring. Boring. Boring. So sad, since they have such immense potential.

just saw him in Juarez Mexico- he played a three hour set, which was well long enough...about two hours too long...

Seriously, where's the big names like Carl Cox, Timo Maas, Armin.. I think GV blew their trance wad last year.

too many video clips of himself projected on screens behind him too... germans are so vain.

Van Buuren just won #1 DJ vote at DJ Mag so you really think no one would pay attention?
