I think the one with highest resolution is in the official website. Or in Coachella myspace page.

I need higher than that. Last years was even bigger of the main page.

like removing Jack Johnson and Roger Waters and putting headliners in that say "Coachella" and not "another generic rock festival"?

I think if 80-90% of the bands on the undercard are consistent in the type of music they represent, then the headliners should also be representative of that genre. Right now there's a disconnect between what the festival says it is and what two of the headliners are.

People can say "it's not about the headliners" and I agree to some degree but having been last year and 2004 I know that it's the headliners that sell your tickets because the Main Stage is packed regardless of who headlines. So if it's going to be JJ and RW fans that buy your tickets, for the most part, Coachella's vibe changes quite a bit and you move towards being a "generic rock festival".

"Coachella's vibe changes quite a bit".

I was really excited to see rage last year but the vibe was WAY cooler in '06 when the venue was full of people who were there for the whole festival, not just one band

Exactly. The Sunday crowd for Rage last year totally changed the feel of the day. That's what headliners can do and that will probably be the case this year as well.

I agree. I remember talking to two older woman at the rage show and they said they had only bought tickets for Sunday to see rage. They didn't know any other band/dj/ on Sunday. I was fuckin' disapointed to the tenth power.

Me too! 2006 was my first year (the art was great), but last year seemed like the art had been taken to the next level. I'm anticipating another great year, hopefully rising to yet another creative peak.
