Why is everyone so obsessed with having this at Coachella??
It's more fun to listen to at home than in a huge festival setting.

What are those? Instant Death Messages?

Because we never see it here in the States. There's a lot of great acts that do not tour outside of Europe, so this is our only chance. This is one area that GV really has dropped the ball on the last few years.

internet download manager?
haha seriously why couldnt gv have aphex twin or autechre, that wouldve seal the deal for me. still going but that would have been excellent

Jack Johnson has more fans on this message board than IDM would have at the festival.
Still hoping Richard D. James shows up in Los Angeles for a show.

That is an amazing lineup, I stopped watching it months ago because I wanted to cry every time I saw it.

OMG that line-up is insane.

And to answer the original question, we want IDM or breaks and dnb because it's not all about fucking electro rock disco fidge house ed banger kitsune sounds. Just look at the electronics acts around 1999-2001.

just wondering how MODESELEKTOR will manage to do both
01-22-2008, 09:35 AM
WTF how is modeselektor at both of these events?
EDIT: As mentioned above.
01-22-2008, 09:36 AM
Yeah, I didn't realize they are on both lineups.. Well, they play here on friday, so probably they will be over there on sunday night?
I was really hoping Autechre for this Coachella.. they were so close.

what are you serious? im definetly thinking about ditching coachella to go to that since its the same dates...if aphex gets added im going to England.
01-22-2008, 09:48 AM
If Aphex gets added, the world will explode.
I think they are selling around 3000 tickets, and surely it will sell out. Model 500 was just added. Fuck the UK and its quality shows all the time, I wish only 3 acts of that lineup came here to play 30 minutes sets.
