Coachella is about celebrating musical achievements of the recent years past. Was the Curious George soundtrack really that big of a deal?

But, Coachella, I have to be frank with you and it's only because I love you. Don't you think you owe us all an explanation/apology/retribution for allowing Jack Johnson to headline Day One? I'll assume you were just making good on an old gambling debt, but let's be honest - Coachella is about celebrating musical achievements of the recent years past. Was the Curious George soundtrack really that big of a deal?

haha :rotfl

you guys should all get together and plan your own festival.

you all realize they can only get bands to play that want to? they can't force a band to play and if a band is not touring at the time then there may not be much motivation to get together for one show. they can really only pick from a specific talent pool based on the above. ignorance abounds here.

recent years...like rage who hadn't played live for many years--when was their last album, the pixies more than a decade, daft punk had a decade off from playing in the states, etc. the list goes on...
