He's working on a forth album. I don't know if it will be ready by Coachella.
I'm so happy he's playing this year.

I love all his albums. They are all have a different sound but join together as a story of his life. There are a lot of things I can relate to, especially coming from England myself. Being skint, going up the pub, dodgy mates, mugs of tea. Good stuff.

From what I've been reading, his new album will primarily feature live instruments. I guess he'll perform with a backing band--which can only be a good thing.
Hopefully the album will be out by April. He's been working on it forever.

The Streets + The Cool Kids on Sunday = Hip-hop GENIUS!
If you don't know the Cool Kids check 'em out!! (For starters try: "'88", "I Rock", "Black Mags" and "Gettin' It (Feat. Lil Wayne)")

I've been wanting to see The Streets for years, so thanks GV for finally bringing them to Coachella.

Maybe I saw them on an off day, but they sounded horrible at BFD...

So we have The Streets, Aesop, MIA and Spank Rock. These are some of my favorite artists but do they make up for the general lack of hip-hop at coachella 2008?

Skinner was playing with a backing band when I saw the Streets at Ultra Music Festival in Miami back in 2003.... if he brought a band a festival that is basically a rave, I'd have to assume he'll have one at Coachella.

i was pleased indeed when i saw this. I've actually only ever listended to original pirate material but i'm a big fan of that album. How do his others compare?

I've see him three times over two tours, and every time has been a complete and total disaster. Keep this man away from drugs and alcohol before he makes his way onto the stage unless you want a blubbering gobshite wasting your time.
