I fly into Palm Springs on this day but have yet to book a hotel. Just wondering if anything happens in Indio on the Wednesday or if I should just book a hotel in Palm Springs. Any insights would be appreciated.

Hope you find a hotel, at this point, probably not, unless you got a lot of money.

nothing is going on in Indio, but there's always a pre-Coachella show in Pomona Wednesday night. camping is your best bet.

I stayed at 7 Springs in 2006, traviscanada. It's really nice.

And yeah jonnypark, good luck finding a place to stay. It's a beast to get a hotel, but if you are going to stay in Palm Springs, do not worry about what goes on in Indio. I mean, if you get a rental car, it takes a very short time to drive on 111 to get to Indio.

But yeah, there isn't shit in Indio. If you are going to be there on Wednesday and Thursday with no Coachella to see until Friday, one thing you can do is check out The River in Rancho Mirage. I go and eat at the Yard House every year as a tradition, and that place is very nice.

Ohh ya me and jonnypark booked it today, we are just booking for the 23rd, as we decided to fly in a day early have a little relaxing beforehand. We both fully intend to on-site camp again. Glad to hear it is nice, I hope its really snowy here in Calgary on the 23rd, last year it was snow to desert.

oh man how we were contemplating that. We figured it would be too far a cab ride the next day.................. but man that bowling alley looked sweet.

April 23, 2008 will be my 25th birthday.

I expect all of you to party accordingly, at least tip a glass for a fella at Coachella.

Las Casuelas on the strip has great food and a big outside tiki bar with tons of coachella party people... Shanghi Reds Fish Market behind Las Casuelas has great food in the bar and is fun.. Matchbox on the strip has great food and drinks on their upstairs patio. All of these places are the best spots to eat and party if in Palm Springs the night before coachella

Sweet thanks alot, we are onsite camping, but spending the 23rd in palm springs as to sort of relax for one day between finals/end of semester and coachella. Were looking into a nice dinner, thanks.
