It would be awesome to see Van Damme doing a whole Dj set based only on that song.

Shit, Van Damme was on Street Fighter... fuck it

Every time and I spin, my friend screams at me to play it. I never have and probably never will, I thought he was the only one................... guess there are a lot of idiots who enjoy that track

It has already been clearly decided by myself and Executive VP of Raving, Trick Loves The Kids that 2008 is The Year of Sandstorm. Mortal Kombat can have '09.

I'm on board for Sandstorm, because it has the perfect opportunities for people to do both "the matrix" and hand punching in the air to the "do-do-do-do".

On a related note, what is the Japanese word/term for what everyone knows as the truth but nobody says it?

NI don't think it did... I saw enough acts in the Sahara, but not all (probably close to 50% though). You got a a remixed "Losing my Religion" from R.E.M. from Danny Tenaglia on Sunday afternoon. I fuckin hate that song, but Danny actually made it sound ok...

Also, Boys Noize had a little Bloc Party during his set too.

Oh man, so agreed with the Danny playing REM part. I never really was into that song either, but when he dropped his mix of it, it didn't matter who you were at the time - you were into it and dancing like there was no tomorrow. One of the best live music experiences i've ever been in. The vibe of the crowd when he played that was just... it can't be described in words.

Just get 'em there to play it live.

I don't care how eurotrash uncool it would be...Praga & Jade for Sahara '09

Though I actually prefer the fake, hired-gun, LOA that toured around in the 90's. I saw this tour a couple times...
