View Full Version : Pregnant at Coachella??

Hey guys! I have a question for you (well specifically all you ladies out there)? Anyone ever brave Coachella pregnant? I will be about 5 1/2 months by then. I've always been pretty good with the heat in Indio, but I know I might feel differently about it with a big belly. My husband and I are thinking as long as we stand farther back in the crowds (we usually do this anyway to see better), buy shitloads of water, and take shade breaks then I should be ok. I want to book the hotel like yesterday! I'm thinking I can always sell the tickets if it looks like I'm going to be feeling too, well..pregnant.
Any input would be awesome! Thanks :)

What i can get from this picture is wear sensible shoes, a comfortable dress, and have an escort on occasion to make walking through the crowd more pleasant.

I was going to say to have the baby there, see if you can have the baby sooner maybe. :)

I guess someone DID actually have a baby in 2005.
I'm not joking; in fact, someone laid the smackdown on me when I doubted its veracity in another thread. There were many witnesses, apparently.

During Bauhaus none the less. haha. I saw this with my own eyes

I was 7 months in 2005, and it was great. The heat was tough, but I had felt hot since conception. People were extremely nice. Right to the front of the lines at the bathroom, and I was never lacking a helping hand when trying to stand up - with that big belly I always needed at least 2 or 3 hands. I say go for it, and yes drink LOTS of water.

I plan on impregnating someone at Coachella.

I hate pregnant people. They are like old people. Burdens on society and always expect everyone to do them favors. Fuck that.

5 1/2mos. Shouldnt be too bad. You have the right idea. Drink plenty of fluids and take lots of shade breaks. Try to carry mint with you in case you get
queasy. Dont forget a hat.

Yeah, he's down about 30 pounds from that picture, but he's very willing to hurt others if necessary.

just found out we have another one on the way! my lady will be about 5 months along at coachella time, guessing she will be out this year. she usually only comes out for one day a year, though, so my sis or another friend can use the passes the other days.

OMG, 5 months that's nothing - or is she a miserable baby holder?
01-14-2008, 09:30 PM
she's had a lot of foot problems throughout her life, so coachella is hard enough without the extra weight on her dawgs. she was pretty miserable for the first kid, too, just really tired throughout the whole pregnancy. she was on limited activity, as well, due to a condition known as placenta previa.

yeah, not a good mix. A great show is not worth the sacrifice and the worry.

also, it's obviously a very personal thing for you, topic poster. if you are in the condition to handle lots of walking around or possibly uncomfortable amounts of standing if conditions are the worst, go. otherwise, i say you really need to know yourself well enough that you don't have to ask this question.
but i'd be glad to see you there! spark one up for the baby! :D
