i thought last years recycle program was awesome, I did it many times. Seeing how everything seems to be "green" themed these days,do you think they will bring this back? And also I was happy with the addition of lockers, made life a little easier.

Yes, bring back both! I didn't personally recycle any bottles, but I did appreciate not having to step on bottles all day.

I did use the lockers, and they were very useful.

Excellent idea. Perhaps it should be expanded...

hahaha. Yes, thumbs up on the recycling program, The Polo grounds were so much cleaner with people picking up all the bottles, and getting free water was great!

I traded in at least 170 bottles. Whenever I got thirsty I went hunting for bottles and had enough for a free bottle or two in a matter of minutes.

A great program, just one recommendation. If possible, chill the water that we get for handing in the empties.

The lockers were great. Think I'll use them again this year for merch, etc.

They were in the back by the Mojave tent

I thought the idea was pretty snazzy, but I thought it was hilarious that people were digging through the trash for them. I'd rather pay for water than spend 1/2 an hour digging through the garbage to get a free bottle.

U know I really think that having shuttles from the hotels and motels around the area would make the festival very green and instead of sitting in traffic we can all crash in the shuttles on the way to our hotels...

And shuttles to take people to the bus station and back, since greedy cabbies would only go to the airport.

For every crap headliner such as RHCP, can we have two smaller bands in the tent ?

bump... PLEASE bring this back. getting free water for two minutes' worth of searching for empties was such a lifesaver last year!

what?! you spoiled bitch! it's 105 degrees out there and they're already giving out water, you really want them to have to run more generators just to chill your water?! seriously- water's going to hydrate you just as much when it's room temperature.

They were chilling water with buckets of ice...not generators...

Yeah, I didn't dig getting warm Gatorade either. Plan Ahead. Buy more ice.

that said, the recycling program was a definite success. The grounds were so much cleaner...it was a really bright idea.

I'm gonna litter those free stickers that came with "In Rainbows".
Out of spite.

That recycling water bottle idea was great.
And every drink I bought at the festival was very cold.
Not once did I get a warm drink.
