i hate to ask this question, but i went through some crap this year for wanting to bring in Tic-Tacs and whitening gum.
Are they considered "outside food & drink"?
i work as "event staff" for a sports arena and we never have people through away anything of this nature, and we have Homeland Security breathing down our necks.
an official answer would be much appreciated.

yeah for christs sake all the drugs and shit inside and you can't get in tic tacs. That's some funny shit right there.

I imagine if you had a problem last year you will have a problem this year. There are "official" rules as to what you can bring in and and what you can't but there are also personal preferences of the security guard who is searching you at the time. I had a strict motherfucker who checked all of my shit out. A little too personal if you know what I mean.

Do a complete orifice check. If Tic-Tacs are found in a bunghole, I'd be suspicious. Hope that helps.

I had some possibly suspicious mints in my purse, and they let me through. They were actually just mints, but I could see that they could look suspicious.

One time I brought in a claritin redi-tab during sleater-kinney. I put it on my tongue and everyone was staring at me. People will be suspicious. Not acid, Claritin.
