I'm going solo at this point as well, probably flying down. Really just going to see RATM but looking forward to the other bands and the whole experience.

I'll be heading down with a few friends. I'm trying to figure out how many people are flying from Winnipeg. Of theres 10 or more, theres a discount on Westjet. Anyway, I hope to run in to some of you down there.

I'm coming from Saskatoon, but until I know my final exam schedule, I don't know if I'm driving or flying. I like the idea of a caravan though, if driving, I'll be in touch with the Manitobans...

I got a much better deal than westjet.

After taxes I pay $358 CAN round-trip with Delta.

holy shit

well, just looking at the Delta website, it looks like all of the fares right now are pretty comparable to Westjet and Air Canada.

I was looking on expedia.ca and the prices seem to be around 358/365, because I'm heading solo I wouldn't mind flying down with some other Winnipegers so feel free to invite me!

As if there was a random thread made about people travelling from Winnipeg.

I'm assuming were all going to see Rage?

A rule against Canadians entering... Come on.

They are going to deny someone entry who has travelled across North America because they are Canadian? Don't make me laugh.

Fellow manitoban here,
Totally stumped on how to get to this shindig from Winnipeg. I can really only go for the weekend, and it looks like all hotels are booked. Are there any groups going down that I can tag along with? I would prefer to fly, but am willing to do anything to see Rage..I have been waiting this for this day FOREVER. Anyone who is going FORSURE let me know. Need help..ahhhh!!
Also, are there any girls from Winnipeg going?

I got a flight to phoenix return (direct) from winnipeg for $86.00 each way. phoenix is 3.5 hours a way where as los angelas is 2.2 hours away if they have no traffic jams that day. I think they still have a couple flights left that cheap.

I live in Phoenix, uh, I grew up and learned to think in Winnipeg or something. I am thinking going to Coachella is a good idea... I am also thinking that staying in a hotel is a bad idea. Hotels might cost $300-$400 per night if you can get one... Whats the saying we had in Canada? Yikes, yep thats the one. Steep was the other....

Anyhow, I just thought I would mention that I live in Phoenix and would like to kinda see Coachella

Salton sea is made up of whatever salt the fish that used to be alive had. IE it smells like fish, x100000000 If you like fish x100000000 then your in for a treat.
