i think 08 would do better with real good dj's that know the underground scene.

They played last year (as Soulwax Nite Versions),so I doubt it.

that's like saying blur played last year. blur didn't play, and neither did 2 many djs. soulwax is a distinct act. the fact that two of them also perform as 2 many djs is really not consequential. 2 many djs played in 2004 and were awesome.

OK.
From LastFM:

These days soulwax play frequent gigs with double sets morphing seamlessly between soulwax and 2 Many DJ's. While summer 2005 saw rock shows by soulwax followed by lengthy 2 Many DJ's mixing sessions, this summer they've been touring with a dance-oriented electro-rock show implementing the trappings of both a rock band and an electronic project, wedged between two sessions of dj-ing by themselves and others, notably dj justice, whose set closely follows the style of As Heard on Radio Soulwax, Pt. 2 as well as displaying his own style.

I don't know about 'seamlessly'. maybe it was seamless and I don't remember. it's still two distinct acts. a 2 many djs set and a soulwax set. when they do that you will see both names on the bill. if you see just soulwax on the bill, it'll be just the band (just like at coachella 07). if you see just 2 many djs it will be just a 2 many djs set (just like at coachella 04). hell, at rockness this year I think soulwax were one day while 2 many djs were another. they are distinct performances.

I'd rather see Soulwax at Coachella as Soulwax - Not as Nite versions or 2 Many Dj's. I like all three, but Soulwax with guitars are by far the best live.
I'd love to hear them play some stuff of Leave The Story Untold one day too.

hmm. such as?

they would be different for most people but some would surely cross over.

in my case, i would like to see dj's like, Mark Farina, Dano, Eddie Richards or some that i saw this weekend, Hipp-e, Marlin. folks like that. dj's that are big names, but not too over the top like, oakenfold and the likes.

Who would be those real djs?

real good dj's. not real dj's.

real good dj's. not real dj's.

Havent heard of the other ones, but Farina is whack. His mushroom jazz project is, not bad, but very mediocre

there were no guitars. live drums, some live vocals, many songs had a bass, but no guitars. the rest was done on keyboards/synths/???.
