Band send more secret messages via their website
4 hours ago

Radiohead have added a new instalment of their daily website coding communication with fans (September 26).

This time, fans seemed to have cracked the message and now believe that the band have hinted at a possible release date.

The latest code posted on www.radiohead.com/deadairspace, has been translated to read 'march wa x'.

Fans have already begun to speculate on its meaning, believing that it could be a hint at a March release date for their seventh album, possibly on Wax or Earwax records.

Some have even interpreted the code to signify specifically March 10 (X is the Roman numeral for ten) as the record's release date.

The band are still said to be hunting for a record company to release the album, after their deal with Parlophone expired earlier this year.

According to fan site Ateaseweb.com the complete decoded messages so far are:

September 20: YES WE ARE STILL ALIVE
September 21: BLINK YOUR EYES ONE FOR YES TWO FOR NO CODE CODE CODE
September 22: PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY
September 22: XENDLESS
September 23: MIGHT NOT OPERATE PROPERLY
September 24: A FLATLINE WE ARE IN A MEETING
September 25: CONSIDERING DISSEMINATION
September 25: SEMAPHORE ELEMENTS
September 26: MARCH WAX

Also...
has anyone seen this?

what's the point of using code, then when you decode the message it still doesn't make any sense? I agree with amy, just give us the damned music.

My favorite are Thom's posts. They are like mini-snippets of paranoia and disconnection.

radiohead don't need a pedestal. that would be like giving a $100 to Bill Gates.

I just hope they do release it, rather than just push it back or do nothing.

And there will be immense amounts of bloodshed if arpeggi and videotape are not on it.

i'm guessing that this radioheadlp7 website is a hoax by some atease fan

i hope not because i want to hear the new album tomorrow morning (and you can be damn sure i'll be checking in), but deep down i find it hard to believe its real...

how cool would it be if they just released it for free though?

Radiohead: 'countdown site is a hoax'

Band tell NME.COM Radioheadlp7.com is nothing to do with them
9 minutes ago

Radiohead's spokesperson has told NME.COM that the site claiming to be counting down to information about the album, is a "hoax".

As previously reported, Radioheadlp7.com, is currently showing a countdown that will end tomorrow morning (September 29) at 8am.

However a representative for the band has told us that, "It's a hoax," adding that it has "nothing to do with Radiohead".

Many fans believed the site was not for real, suggesting it might actually be a means to trick fans into giving away passwords.

It will be interesting now to see what the hoaxers will do now when their countdown finally runs out in the morning.

Stay tuned to NME.COM for coverage.
