Even more new AF posters from Burlesque - can't wait to see the one they sell at the Columbus show. Unfortunately these two sold out before they even went on sale, as they are selling them at the gigs primarily.

Love the church themed one from the Hollywood Bowl.

also these gig-only ones are harder to snag than the set run they did a few months back. These 5 new ones are signed and numbered to 440 for each show, so get one early if you want one me thinks.

Why do you have to keep track of it? If you go to an AF show, hit the merch booth, buy one if there's any left. It's not like a whale you tag and release back into the wild--it's a fucking poster.

Really? I'm having trouble in seeing how anyone could lose interest.

Yeah - this really shouldn't be a "downer" in any way. I wish more bands did this type of stuff.

These posters are awesome. Well designed, well crafted, and yes, somewhat limited in availability. So, that's just the reality of it, the fact they are made for a cool band is icing on the cake for anyone who is remotely in to them.

For the record, there isn't that much AF "shit" out there anyways.

Cool - 765 for 3 shows isn't a lot. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I'm totally with CDub here. It's so fucking boring going to multiple shows from the same tour and seeing the same three posters for sale at every one, with one of them actually being worth putting up on your wall if you're lucky.

Daft Punk was pretty disappointing in that respect from what I remember--both posters (except for the rare ultra-expensive and limited supply vintage ones that sold out in two seconds) and t-shirts (and I think there was a limited supply of one kind of cool shirt that sold out just as fast too) were thoroughly mediocre by my standards. If I'm going to put something on my wall, much less something I have to pay 25+ bucks for, it had better be a fucking work of art. Coolest fucking stageshow in the world and all they can get us is an outline of the pyramid? Horseshit.

Props to AF for giving each show something at least quasi-unique and unquestionably art to grab.

white stripes have the most amazing posters, rob jones did some really good ones this tour. love that they are all red, white, and black. would look really good all together on a wall.

Why do you have to keep track of it?

there are a few bands of which i fancy having a complete collection of their music and posters. AF was one of them, but there are fucking hundreds of posters now and they've been around for like, 3 years.

Well designed

i don't particularly think this round is well designed, either. the neon bible diecut is nice, though.

I'm having trouble seeing how this board needs an individual thread about a fucking poster. Pick an Arcade Fire thread to spread your rancid seed around in and stick with it.

Um, NO there is not hundreds. I keep a database of their posters and to date, including this current tour, there are 48 posters, and about half of those were for other bands with Arcade Fire opening (most of which are shitty).

That's bat-shit crazy talk. Agree to disagree on this one I guess. Being in the design biz, I can tell ya, there is no more respected poster shop than BONA (maybe Derek Hess, Animal Rummy, AA, Patent Pending, or 33RPM).

I think their stuff, or 80% of it, is top notch. My favorite shop is AA though in which I like pretty much everything they put out.

Here is the BONA history of Arcade Fire posters in the last 3 years. Again, not all that many.

I'm having trouble seeing how you think this thread is worth your negativity. If your not interested, move on. I think this is an interesting topic that extend beyond the Arcade Fire part of it.

I guess we know who gave the thread 1 star.

I can understand that - there is kick ass Hot Hot Heat poster that I did buy, but I haven't taken it out of the tube in 2 years.
