come one dude. i answered many questions for you in the mixing thread. try google once in a while. rar. is a file compression program. you can download it for free and it un-zips your rar. files.

you can also play video and audio files directly from the archives (rar, zip, etc... even ISO and Bins) with VLC (www.videolan.org)
your mileage may vary...

I'm not even gunna bitch cuz it won't get me anywhere. I figured i could find a fuckin player, im not retarded. What I want to know is how what to use to convert it to an mp3, I found some programs but they all cost money and I am cheap as hell.

.rar is a compressed file, get winrar, it's a program that will unzip it for you. If it's some type of audio file (which I assume it is), and you wanna convert it to mp3, then go download iTunes (which converts to mp3), or get dbpoweramp, which has a month free trial of mp3 LAME encoder.
