do they drain the pool for coachella?

Maybe I'm retarded, but why would they do that?

Maybe I'm retarded, but why would they do that?

Probably to keep from having to deal with cleaning the pool afterward/the attractive nuisance a pool presents to partying festivalgoers/potential liability if anything bad happened involving the pool.

Just a guess.

pretty sure indian palms is the closest. it's pretty late in the game to find anything close but i had a lot of luck with vrbo.com
as for just renting a room, maybe start a new thread to catch someones eye?

I was hoping yours :)

How many people are staying at your house Arcade? How many are allowed? I just looked at my rental thing today and mine says max 6?!? Curious as to what yours says.

i'm staying at indian palms, but never have before. does anyone know if they are pretty strict on the number of people staying in a place? mine says 6 allowed, but i might have some more...

also, any ideas on the neighbors, will it be mostly coachella people???

worldwide, I have stayed the the past couple of years. We usually have 10 people in our house. They are not strict, as the person who rented you the house is not in the area. They have a security guard at the gate, and they are very nice people. They know it is Coachella weekend. All you have to know is the name the reservation is under, and they will let you pass.

Security drives around all night long, going really slow past the houses that Coachella people are at. They even parked across the street from our house for twenty minutes at 3am while a few of us were out by the pool. We just waved, and they didn't bother us. I don't think many Coachella people are in the complex. It is rather large and easy to get lost in, so I wouldn't know for sure.

In my experience, as far as the neighbors went, it seemed like there weren't many around. Most likely hit or miss pending upon where your house is located.

I stayed at Indian Palms last year. It's very convenient and we didn't have any problem with security guards despite their weird hand stamping thing that they seemed more concerned about for outgoing traffic than incoming.

Nobody's gonna' stamp on my hand.

Courtney

It doesn't make much sense because with all the sweating and sunscreen applying, there's no way that stamp is going to stay on for 12+ hours.
