Flying in to Palm Springs is kinda pricey because it's a small local airport....Ontario is better to fly into, but either way, you're going to have to rent a car. It'll be cheaper to just drive if you can. Then you don't have the hassle of returning your rental car and sitting in the airport with everyone else on Monday morning.

Move to another state. One that doesn't suck.

Should I be frightened?

I flew to LA, met with some people and we rented a car. Good deal.

From California, went to school in Texas. I would always take the 40 when I went home/back to school. Its a nice drive, not a lot of traffic, but if you're in the Eastern part of the state, count on taking two full days driving to get there. I think it really depends on whether you enjoy road trips or not and also whether you have a friend/s to switch off driving with.

Ignore the ***holes bashing Texas. Unfortunately, there are more than a fair share of bad apples living in California. I really miss going to ACL for the simple reason of how nice the people are there.

Do Texans consider Houston a part of Texas? Because that's the biggest shit hole I've ever been to and deserves every negative comment it receives.

Houston I've heard it a nasty place, but West Texas is dope.

Texas is so massive that you need to state where you'd be flying out of or where you'd begin your trip by drive.
