so i downloaded this weeks essential mix this morning and it was a mix of artists from the Factory Records label. I pressed play, and was doing my thing on the web, surfing and shit, and I suddenly get mesmerized by these guitar chords I'm hearing. I look up the name and its a band called the Durutti Column. i downloaded an album by him and it is absolutely amazing! does anyone have any info on this guy? does he still tour at all? It just may be some of the most beautiful music I've heard recently.
