I went to this last year. Note that the beer is sold out of coolers by enterprising citizens in the woods directly west of the event.

John beat me to the punch with Bill Callahan and Tom with Teddy Thomson. Isn't Jason Isbell the guy who left Drive-By Truckers or am I thinking of someone else? If it is, I heard that record the other day. It's not bad. A little heavy-handed in parts, but not bad.

Also, this really is a pretty stellar lineup. I thinks I might drive over.

You should drive about twelve hours north on the way. It'd be really convenient. I swear.

(For me).

I fell asleep with the window open, so I woke up to close it. And thaw out a little bit. And change the music.

Hi Alma. You should come too. I will bring donuts. Y'all meet me at the big TA truck stop just outside Reno. I will be holding a flag.

Perfect. Alma, You can just clock out and meet us outside.

I would totally come but I've gotta be here at 7 to give grandpa his methadone.

So what's this thread about, anyway?

Hannahrain
08-29-2007, 05:00 AM
Wait.

Threads are about things? I thought people just sort of sneezed them onto the lounge and we all went from there.

Also, sunrise and then going back to bed. Night. Or, morning, as it were.

thefunkylama
08-29-2007, 05:02 AM
Well, that's not entilrely untrue. However, this thread is about the free Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival that's going on in the beginning of October.

And I would totally go if I didn't have to be here at 7 AM to give grandpa his methadone.

Alma's so nice. She even feels bad about highjacking threads dedicated to free bluegrass festivals. Or actually, NOT strictly bluegrass festivals, as it were.
