I have no idea who/what Spectrum is.

You have a Spacemen 3 song called "Big City." The guy what wrote and sang that, Pete Kember, is Spectrum now.

I think I could get into the SF show for free. Granted, it doesnt make a damn bit of difference if I don't have a fucking ride.

Spectrum is great, I saw them open for MBV last tour in SF, I thought they put on a good show, with the smoke and the blue lights just added to the ambiance

I have to say, for all you who just saw them with MBV, if he does a solo spectrum tour, then it'lll be very different. It's just him with keyboards doing longer drone pieces that are equally awesome, but in a very different way. I dunno, we'll see what he does. It's always worth it.

Yeah, I noted to a couple friends last night that Crocodiles DESPERATELY want to be a new JAMC. Sounded good, though. And Pete was in a great mood and the guitarist is pretty attractive and it was my first time at the Casbah and I approve. Run-on.

That guitarist's name is Jason... I like that. I noticed Pete/Sonic was in a good mood too, which I guess was contrary to my perception of him; I got to meet him briefly afterwards which is always easy to do at Casbah. He was also inadvertently flashing the audience a lot at the beginning

In LA, he had a few kids from the audience come up and play Mongoloid by Devo with him, then they joined in again for Suicide to close out the show.

By kids you mean Andrew and Ben from MGMT. He's producing their new album and they joined and jammed out w/ them.

Is that who that was? I figured they were kids because it didn't seem like they could play their instruments very well....
