welcome to my world. I live in VA, on the east coast. every once in a while, someone comes by DC, but other than that, no luck here.

pisses me off that its only 6 dates. Seriously, the chems could do alot more if they wanted to.

I dig the concourse. It is definitely a wherehouse type of atmosphere. I went a few absolutely bonkers raves there in about 93. It's right near the main SF police station if I remember right. Now that Im going to Vegoose instead of Nocturnal, Im gonna have a dirty night there at the concourse. Any word on who else is playing, times, etc... ?

edit: also love parade is the next day. Never checked that out. I have friends doing a float, should be a good couple days in SF.

minus the canadian dates, its just as long as a tour as the daft punk tour.

Both Daft Punk and the Chemical Brothers shows are very costly, and its only worth visiting the cities that will make a profit.

OH... good point.

on another note, nocturnal is currently on sale for $50 as a 'presale'. does anyone know when the presale ends, and what price the regular tickets will be? I couldn't seem to find that info anywhere. the nocturnal website is useless.

Damn, I would love to see them at the Concourse. I really don't want to go to Nocturnal Wonderland. But I'm coming home to see the White Stripes the weekend before the SF date, so I guess that would be a little much. Oh well.

Yeah they might be costly, but i'm pretty sure both DP and the Chems have made a big enough name for themselves to tour more places. Seriously, they would do fine in maybe Philly, DC, Atlanta. I'm sure they could do it.

They haven't played Coachella since 2005.

That's uncalled for.

Some good news for me. If I want, I'm now capable of pulling off a extended chems trip now. My credit limit on one of my credit card just got increased by another $1,000.

So technically, if I wanted to, I could do Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, and L.A. dates.
It's just a matter of do I want to spend the money or not...

What to do, What to do....

P.S. I got my tickets for Chicago Already! w00t!!!

P.S.S. I LOVE THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS!!!

chems are playing the night before the love parade, though it seems to be unrelated -- at least, they were not on the last love festival flyer I saw. they've since removed that flyer from their website though.

I'm going actually to both... chemical brothers friday night, most of the love parade during the day sat, then flying to LA for nocturnal. I'll miss the after parties in SF, but I think nocturnal is better than the love parade after parties anyway. the street party is the bit I wanna participate in.

that weekend's gonna rock.

New schedule for me. I will be attending both the San Francisco date and LA Nocturnal Wonderland date, along with my hometown Chicago date.

This tour is gonna complete me.
