1) My Phoenix Suns flag
2) My South Park image
3) My pig doorbell. When you push his tummy, he oinks like a madpig.
4) My "D'Peach Mode" Jones Naturals bottle
5) Various Dilbert and Far Side cartoons I've saved. My favorite one is where these two guys are in hell talking after just getting a cup of coffee and one guy is saying to the other: "Oh, man! The coffee's cold! They thought of everything!"
6) Various training manuals I've written over the years
7) A picture of George Bush holding a book upside down. I think it's Photoshopped but with him, who knows?
8) A box of hand toys and stress balls I ship to wherever I'm traveling to deliver workshops
9) My "gloworm" from the day I slung baggage down on the ramp

http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j251/captncrzy/DSCI0361.jpg?
10)My really nice desktop laser printer
11) My travel calendar
12) My Arcade Fire ticket from The Greek
13) Rules for Hotel Fire Survival. It's sort of a running joke; on my very first trip, there was a fire alarm in my hotel at 3am. I go running downstairs in my sweats and get into the parking lot, where my boss was waiting, fully dressed, with all her luggage.
14) My coffee cup; it says "Oy Vey"
15) My water cup I got from Giordano's Pizza in Chicago
16) Some cherries I was working on
17) My coffee cup warmer
18) Not numbered-but a rubber chicken hanging by a giant paperclip on the far right.

Those are pretty small stars/numbers.

Hey you have that easter bunny cartoon. I love that one.

Please explain purpose of "glowworm".

also, please empty your purse on your desk and photograph and document all that stuff too. Just to keep in the 'being nosy' theme.

edit: how does one win the Above and Beyond award?

captncrzy

The "gloworm" is a safety vest that the guys that work down in baggage handling on the ramp have to wear. I went out there one morning (at 2:00am, mind you) and learned how to drive a baggage cart, push back a plane, load and unload baggage, etc. They let me keep my gloworm.

Nothing in my purse but a wallet, some makeup, my camera, and a pen.

It can completely be right. At FIDM they gave us a $40 stapler. I have yet to determine the difference between it and your average, run-of-the-mill two dollar stapler.

But hey, how tacky of them to tell you that on your first day.

Eh. You take what you can get. Times are tight these days. I have nicer pens, but I don't leave them laying about, all willy nilly like that. I mean, come on.

By the way, there are several loaded weapons in that bottom drawer. It's true. I suppose that's why that particular piece of equipment is in my office in the first place. It's fine, I guess. A locked SAFE might be classier. Safer too, come to think of it. But hey, what are you gonna do? I can only run the Staples bill so high every month. Maybe I should save up. Or take them home.
