· Mixes can be found on the first page here:
http://coachella.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10540
· This is the only voting; this is not a bracket system. Mixes are split into 3 groups only because they can’t all fit under 1 poll.
· This is meant to be anonymous. Feel free to identify yourself & tracklisting after voting has closed.
· Poll will be open for 10 days
YOU CAN VOTE FOR MULTIPLE MIXES (i.e. vote for all 5 in Group B if it fancies yer wankee)
· Feel free to leave your reviews here.
· You are eligible to vote if you:
a) submitted a mix
-or-
b) provide detailed feed back to at least 3 mixes
· I don’t give a flying fuck if you vote for yourself
· There will be some sort of prize, probably a gift cert to some Russian Mafia MP3 site.

The only thing is that there is no way to ensure voters have listened to all the mixes. You started a thread saying you would be posting mixes of the day and you only highlighted four mixes. What about the mixes that never got discussed that no one will ever get to?
This isn't fair and balanced. I think you're letting the pressure to finish it in a month override your sensibilities. It's too soon to vote. I think the only person that's listened to all 17 mixes is Breakjaw. We should just have him call the winner.

the mix highlighting thing started to bore me, so i prematurely ended it...
i slept well last night
i have no way of making sure people listen to every mix, & i sure the hell wasn't going to assign it to 5 judges and give them 2 months to do it.
Mad peeps around here seem to take Mixes very seriously, i have faith that people will be as informed as possible before voting.
Breakjaw is just the beginning! (<-- look 4 this on bumperstickers)

I haven't heard all the mixes(I'm going to listen to Strapped Down and Mint Bourbon Sugar & Water later today) but a few of them I've heard a couple of times already.I will wait to cast a vote until I've heard them all.
I really enjoyed listening to all the mixes, but I've got to find a way to limit my voting,so I think I'll only vote for the 3 that I would just pop in the CD player in my car.
So maybe I'm not really voting for the best mixes, but just the ones with the music I prefer.
That's kind of against the point of the contest, but I didn't think there'd be 15 to choose from!
And no way would it be fair for anyone to call the winner!

I've been listening to the Courez Courez Loin mix and liked the Mitch intro. I had been listening to his cd yesterday. I haven't gotten through the whole mix so far but I am digging it.
Joan Cusack is on deck after the Courez Courez Loin mix.

Oh my god. It's all clear now. I can see the truth and it is glaring and harsh. There are assholes on this internet, guys. Real ones.
I don't know how to feel just now.

Fuck. If I'm going to be a least favorite, it should be for something much more explosive than that. Let me think of something better, and I'll edit it eventually.

"There are three kinds of people in this world. Dicks, assholes and pussies. We're dicks, and the rest of the world are pussies. But sometimes an asshole comes along and wants to shit all over everyone, and the only kind of person who can fuck an asshole is a dick, because pussies are just an inch away from being assholes themselves.Sometimes dicks fuck assholes at inappropriate times, and they need pussies to guide them in the right direction."

WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE
Someone... on this board... is an asshole?
But if Tom's an asshole, then there could be others... well fuck that, I make it a point to have no contact whatsoever with assholes--have nothing in common with those people.

I've heard Another Roadside Attraction but want to relisten to it before commenting because it was last week.

I don't understand self-limiting voting.
I will be voting for 1-3 of these; I need some relistens to remember what they were.

Another Roadside Attraction is one of my favorites. Many great songs, a good selection of bands/songs we don't hear from enough. Good flow, too.
Cool Mix for Cool People has some of my favorite songs, the Stone Roses and Medicine = yum, for example. It is a rather long mix (I can think of some songs that I would/will cut... but that may just be me.)
And I thought The Joan Cusack mix started out strong but then kinda fell flat. Some good songs, though.
I didn't really care for Courez Courez Loin at all.
I've already discussed 3000 Miles. I mean, it's not bad but I'm not going to say, oh, I want to listen to this. I don't have enough of a taste for 50s/60s pop, I guess.

I had a whole bunch of comments written about Another Roadside Attraction that basically said I really, really liked it,but then I lost my Internet connection before posting. The inclusion of the Sly Stone track is great, and the Jam song really kicks the energy level up alot. It's a really really good mix.

Another Roadside Attraction has a lot of songs I like on it. but I lose it in the second half. I like the last song a lot but that's a weird way to end a mix, sort of leaves you hanging.
