Yeah there are some ppl who are in need of cheap transportation. But are there more than a few loners who want company for the concerts? I think so.

I'm driving down there with a friend on Sunday from LA. Could theoretically pick some people up. (3 people max)

Flying into LAX on thursday. Going alone, hell yeah for loners. If anyone is going by L.A. and has some extra room, thats be cool. Any loners want to go in on a car?

i'm trying to decide where to fly into, either way i'm going to need a ride - from LAX or san diego or OC...and it would be great to meet some people to hang out at the show with, especially arcade fire fans! is it easy to make friends running around the polo fields?

I'm a loner, too.

If I can find transportation/lodging that is. I jumped the gun when I bought my pass thinking I would just figure out the details later. If I don't I guess I can always sell it on eBay.

my current relationship is on the rocks. if it falls through you can have her plane ticket from chicago and her camping pass.

you'd have to sit next to me on the plane, though. and then you wouldn't be a loner.

To quote yourself BC...
i'm with the gerbil.

while you're at it, you might as well just ask if you can sleep in their tent, too.

good luck, though. Couldnt resist, karmas a bitch! :)

Loners = anti-social

People who seek out new people to meet doesn't fit the description of an anti-social douche. That pretty much rules out your theory.

Loners unite!

I still don't know if I'm driving down or hitchin' a ride with someone...

Details aside... I'm still going Solo style and so down to meet new people!
I'm driving from the SF bay, and going mainly for Bjork, Cornelius, Placebo, Manu and RAGE!!!

so what then... do we make name tags when we get there!?
lol

lets set something up

My situation exactly. For Coach'06 I found some folks to hang with through myspace but that was a tool fan thing, and very last minute. This one guy I like from home is going but I don't feel like following him around because he doesn't call :-/

So I'm a loner, probably will fly from Houston to LAX to stay with friends in Hollywood (who are supposed to go but who knows), I can rent a car but it all feels really lonely... the devil's in the details man...

Yeah I was supposed to go with a friend who lives in San Diego, but I haven't heard from him about it, so I'm not going to count on him.

Money isn't an issue for me, I could fly to California and/or road trip with someone and help pay for gas. I just don't want to get stuck at the airport with no way of getting to Coachella, and I also don't want to have to rely on a bunch of other people for transportation. I would consider driving if I had a reliable mode of transportation, but I wouldn't want to drive all that way by myself. I drove alone from Connecticut to Michigan in January, and that really sucked.

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do, but Coachella or bust! :^)

Hey Alyssak, my mom says we need to rent a convertible and carpool from LAX. The idea made me excited. I'm writing you a PM.
