He did not--apparently the demo he got was soldered into a Discman. Pretty inventive.

Hahaha, just like when somebody decided to glue a copy of Kid A into a cassette player and send that out for listening purposes. And I know there is a way to get the audio from the cd. That cd player has to have an output(headphone jack), so all you gotta do is record that and split it up.

Yeah - I got it from a radio station friend of mine - it looks very - um, last minute.

I remember those Radiohead walkmans, I still have the KID A one, and no I did not crack that open either.

Thats cool, and I want the Kid A Sony Memory stick player, I know where to find one but its liek $1000. Well its ok, I am sure if you got an advance that long ago a leak is going to happen soon. And I am sure 2 of the tracks I downloaded that are bad quality was an attempt to try and do what I suggested.

Yeah. Interpol is a band that needs a GOOD leak if anything, anything less - you are better off waiting. Their sound depends on some quality.

I also have the OK Computer Walkman - a very treasured item I guess.

White Stripes are doing cool sticks for Icky Thump, in the shape of Jack and Meg.

PM me if you would like an active link...

I think the album is awesome. Also, on another note, the new Editors is phenomenal. I like how both groups have changed it up a little bit but still sound the same. Trying some different techniques/sounds in their songs but not straying too far from their good material. :2c

I agree; I also like All Fired Up, it has a really different beat than most of their songs - especially the second verse with the rim shots on the drums - really cool.

Also C Dub, thanks for all the advice for Columbus (Morrissey on the 18th), it was great. We had a friend up there who had a lot of the same tastes as you and took us to several of the places you mentioned.
