We teamed up with Global Inheritance to start this CARPOOLCHELLA program back in 2007. Carpool with four (4) or more to a vehicle and you might win...

Participate by simply writing the word CARPOOLCHELLA on a 8x11 piece of paper (or larger - Get CREATIVE and be easy to SPOT) (You can also just easily print this CARPOOLCHELLA pdf ) and place on the dash and arrive at the festival anytime over the weekend before 2pm on Sunday. During the weekend (Thursday - Sunday), a SECRET SPOTTER will be out at the parking and camping entrances watching people drive in. At random times, random cars with 4 or more people with a CARPOOLCHELLA on their dash or written on their car will be approached for questioning and might possibly win a VIP ticket/pass for life starting in 2014 or one of the other prizes drawn randomly (listed above).

Coachella + Global Inheritance Present The Oasis
Come join us for a free drink as you explore our options for drinkable water in the future!
The Oasis is the perfect place to cool off, taste premium H20 vintages and soak up water news told firsthand by our brilliant bartenders/scientists on the festival grounds.
The water bar at The Oasis offers a wide range of local and imported tap waters, along with higher end bottles drawn from such places as Lake Arrowhead, Colorado River, Indio Wells, Mt. Shasta, the Pacific Ocean, Los Angeles Sewer System plus many more unique locations. Our resident mixologists will be creating a special menu of classic desert island drinks featuring rain water, mineral water, hot spring water, desalinated sea water, and filtered waste water to name a few.
The pricing and supply system will be dictated by factors including difficulty of filtration methods, amount of supply that exists on the planet, and accessibility of the resource. Festival goers will receive double shots of H2O at The Oasis by answering water trivia questions, impressing our bartenders/scientists with your water knowledge or recycling at one of our TRASHed Recycling Centers or 10-for-1 locations.
The Oasis is an education-based program to help people better understand our existing water sources as well as innovations or opportunities for tomorrow. Global Inheritance is currently building a team of dedicated individuals to bring the Oasis to Coachella 2013. If you’re interested in a volunteer/internship position at The Oasis, please send a cover letter/resume to . Global Inheritance is also offering internships for those committed to helping bring the project to life over the next 3 months.

One More Good Reason To Save Bottles/Cans From A Life In Landfill
Why spend all day searching for coins to buy Coachella merch when you can do the same at Coachella Recycling Center for no cost? This is the only place to shop if you’re low on funds but extremely motivated. Calling All Artists - Get TRASHed, Inspire The Masses & Attend Coachella
Global Inheritance is now accepting submissions for TRASHed Coachella 2013. If you’re world famous or locally known, seize the opportunity to exhibit your art/design/conceptual work and help keep the polo fields free of rogue bottles and cans.
Skills and imagination are equally important, so choose your examples wisely!

Sending us a link to your TRASHed Coachella art submission or website is preferable. If you’re planning to send us images as attachments, PLEASE don’t send any emails larger than 2.0mb or we will feed you piece by piece to our Polar Bears. A great way to send large files is via http://www.yousendit.com - which won’t cost a dime unless you’re planning to send a 3TB portfolio (again, please don't).
Celebrity judge Pedley Mangler will be selecting and vetoing this year’s artists. All confirmed artists will receive a 65 gallon blank recycling bin. We will start distributing recycling bins in November. Winning TRASHed Coachella 2013 artists will be announced on February 20th.
Each winning artist will receive a Coachella pass for the weekend of their choice. Mr. Mangler is also offering a second Coachella pass to any artist who steps up and designs a Pedley Mangler/Lance Armstrong champions forever recycling bin that he can personally use during the festival.

Recyclosaurus Rex Fixes Time Machine & Begins Voyage For Empire Polo Fields
No one has a bigger Coachella crush than robotic T-Rex. This 40 ft giant is ready to chow down on every bottle, can and gate jumper he can find. The best way to avoid being placed on T-Rex’s midnight snack menu is to sacrifice empty bottles/cans you find on the festival grounds. Every bottles/can counts so remember to recycle and recycle often.

SIGNAGE AT THE FESTIVAL
In our ongoing effort to be more thoughtful, we switched up all of our Site Map and Set Times to wooden signs. This concept was provided to us from Prints on Wood. With over 100 solar panels on the roof of POW, this is one of the most efficient wood printing solutions available. These dudes also plant one tree for every order placed.
